We are offering a “healing service” for members, friends, guests, and all who would benefit from the laying on of hands and anointing.

This ministry (healing rite) dates back to the early Christians who were commissioned by our Savior to care for those who were sick (emotionally and physically).   Any one – regardless of if you are “Lutheran” or not, or if you are “practicing” your faith or not, or confused about your faith and relationship with God (or a “higher power”) — are invited to join us for worship and the rite of healing.

The ROUND TABLE meeting is for ALL groups and organizations that use our facilities and campus.  (AA groups, Worshiping groups, Dance and Exercise classes, Nutrition org. Scouts, School etc.)

Our primary agenda this month will be to finalize details for our Autumn Fest.

The Saint James Community will be hosting an Autumn Fest on Saturday, September 25th from 2pm until 5pm.   Activities for all ages will be offered along with delicious food and beverages.  Hosted by the organizations and groups that use the St James campus, there will be musical entertainment, face-painting, and the Chicago Fire Department is planning on bringing a truck to show off!

Attending the event is free but tickets will be available for purchase that can be used for purchasing food and participating in some activities.
